With a career spanning over 20 years in education, curriculum design, and instructional leadership, I bring a deep passion for innovative learning solutions that empower both students and educators. My expertise lies at the intersection of instructional design, online learning, and educational technology, helping schools, districts, and organizations create engaging, standards-aligned, and accessible digital learning experiences.
I hold a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Maryland, along with a Master of Arts in Science Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from Georgetown University. I am certified to teach Biology 7-12 as well as Students with Disabilities. Throughout my career, I have led curriculum development, instructional coaching, and large-scale digital learning initiatives, working with K-12 schools, higher education, and EdTech companies to enhance student outcomes. I have a deep passion for bridging the gap between research and practice, ensuring that digital learning is rigorous, inclusive, and adaptable.
Beyond my experience in school leadership and instructional design, I specialize in education consulting, offering services such as:
- Curriculum evaluation & course development
- Teacher training & professional development
- Educational research for white papers & RFP responses
- AI and EdTech integration strategies
- Standards alignment & instructional best practices
My work is driven by the belief that education should be accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse learning needs. When I’m not immersed in designing learning experiences, I love spending time with my family and my two kids, traveling to new places, getting lost in a great book, and working on my latest crochet project. I’m also passionate about self-improvement and lifelong learning, always exploring new ideas and perspectives to grow both personally and professionally.
